Since his call to the bar in 1993, Colin has litigated for individual plaintiffs and insurance companies in commercial and personal injury disputes and his expertise includes personal injury, accident benefits, product liability, municipal liability, occupiers’ liability, medical malpractice, disability, professional negligence, breach of contract, human rights and property claims.

Colin has appeared regularly at all levels of Ontario courts and has appeared at a number of administrative tribunals. Colin has participated in hundreds of mediations during his years in practice.

Colin is widely known to have approached the litigation process in a spirit of civility, integrity and respect for the parties involved and for the process itself. He has the experience and understanding as to what makes a mediation successful.

Colin approaches mediation with the understanding that the parties each have a significant stake in achieving a fair and equitable resolution and that it is in the best interests of all parties that disputes be resolved voluntarily, rationally and reasonably.
